在正式写作中，开头部分往往需要由题目背景引出，如果没有题目背景，即导致题目的现象，而是直接说出题目，很显得非常不自然，不能符合IBT写作中的“渐进性”要求。所以题目背景是必须的，它的要求有两个：（1）通过现象；（2）引出话题。

    题目背景是鸡肋，即重要又不重要。说不重要，因为题目背景并不是在论证题目，所以ETS并不以题目背景作为评分依据；说重要，因为如果考生在作文开始的第一段就用去近10分钟的时间却只写了50个单词，可以想象后面的论证部分只有20分时间，而字数却要近300字，文章很难得高分。所以，大家需要自己强化练习在3-5mins之内，题目背景写到60至80字左右。因此，考生在考试之前需要适当的积累一定的开头背景的有效句式。（在IBT的独立写作中，考生只有在开头部分的题目背景中可以有一定的套话，其他论证段落尽量不要用套话。切记！）另外，不要一味的只会用 “随着什么的发展”这样单一的baby talk开头。

在考场上，考生用于题目背景的构思时间应该在30妙左右，思考“是什么现象导致了出题人有可能出此题目。”如果现象明显，建议考生用此现象引出话题，让读者带着问题继续往下读。如果现象并不明显，考生亦可通过固定句型泛泛的引出题目。

    思考“是什么现象导致了出题人有可能出此题目。”的方法一般可以有两种：1.可以通过过去和今天的的现状对比；2.可是思考自身的情况（但写的时候不要写自身情况，因为这极有可能成为考生的观点，而题目背景中不应该包括主题句）。

The love for attractiveness is native to humans. Clothes are the key indictor of the progression of the culture. Not only male or female, but even adolescence or grown-up would show the high enthuiasm for personal appearances and enjoy appearing out of ordinary by the stylish clothes. However, students to wear own various dresses on campus run the opposite direction of traditional school’s disciplines and requirements. Thus, there should be a universal focus that whether students to decide what to wear to school for one’s personality or to wear school uniform for schools’ demand is beneficial.

In the past decade, higher education is more and more prent.
