　　四级阅读在整个试卷中，占比35%，其中仔细阅读占比20%，而长篇阅读和选词填空分别占比10%和5%，接下来就重点梳理各题型的做题方法。

（一）仔细阅读

　　仔细阅读也称传统阅读，要求考生在25分钟内完成10道题目，其题型最主要包括细节题及原因细节题，而其他题型出现频率较低。

　　1.细节题

　　细节题在四级的仔细阅读中占比最大，平均每年8-9道，占比之大，值得关注。

　　细节题的做题精髓重在“定位”，根据关键词回原文找到定位句，答案可快速确定。

　　【例题】

　　What does Timothy Salthouse say about people’s minds in most cases?

　　[A] They tend to decline in people’s later years.

　　[B] Their flexibility determines one’s abilities.

　　[C] They function quite well even in old age.

　　[D] Their functioning is still a puzzle to be solved.

　　【定位段】

　　The results do not mean that young adults need to start worrying about their memories. Most people’s minds function at a high level even in their later years, according to researcher Timothy Salthouse.

　　题干里往往包括“why…?/reason”等原因词，原因细节题是偶尔会出现的题型。

　　做题精髓就在于如何快速找到“原因”。真题当中往往会出现一些因果提示词，那么此时可根据因果关系词确定答案。

　　本题当中含有why…? 说明是原因细节题。根据题干中的关键词sub-Saharan Africa、unappealing、investors回原文定位，有两句话包含关键词。但是第一句话不含有因果提示词，而第二句话有短语lead to，是“导致”的意思，那么“导致”后面是原因，前面为结果。并且在lead to后面的短语keep sb away是“使某人远离”的意思，与题干中的“unappealing（无吸引力的）”是同义替换。所以答案就在lead to之前，为“traffic jam”。[A]选项的“transport”与“traffic”是同义替换，并且[A]选项“缺乏充足的交通设施”就是对原文“交通堵塞”的同义表述。

（二）长篇阅读

　　长篇阅读考察学生信息匹配能力，不需要仔细阅读，侧重通过文章与题干的关键词来比对信息。
