　　1. Which subject do you want to learn most: science history, art history or history of the world in the 20th century?

　　Personally, I would like to learn art history. First and foremost, art is a big part of our lives, it is the expression of the humanity. Without it, we would have no hope, no aspirations, no joy, just nothing meaning and enlightening. Additionally, in a art history class, I get a chance to appreciate the famous art work created by great artists, and thus I can develop my artistic taste. Plus, by appreciating these beautiful art work, I will get a break from the stresses of work and study.

　　2. Some people prefer to make plans about social activities with their friends in advance. Others prefer to make decisions when they meet each other. Which way do you prefer and why?

　　Well, personally, I prefer to make plans about social activities. To begin with, if I don't make plans ahead of time, there will be obvious drawbacks. It might throw me off my tight schedule, you know, as a college student, sometimes, I am overwhelmed with all kinds of assignment, like presentations, group projects and stuff. Additionally, if I don't make a plan, things might not work in a way I want it to be. For example, if I just randomly decide to travel together with my friends without careful planning, we might not even have a hotel to live in since it might be booked out. So, we'd better make a plan, book the hotel and then figure out the itinerary.

　　3. Which of the following jobs would you like to do in your city: clean up the city; build more bicycle trails; plant more trees?

　　Personally, I would like to plant more trees. To begin with, trees can provide us shade in the summer so that people can enjoy the summer. If there are trees lined up along the street, it will be very appealing to citizens and tourists alike. Obviously, with more trees, the city can attract more tourists. On top of that, I can get a sense of accomplishment, you know, when I see all the trees that I planted, and I know that it is only made possible by my effort. Actually, every time I see the trees, I could recall my past experience of planting tree, and this is very meaningful and memorable.

　　4. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement, the most important element of a successful school is experienced teachers.

　　Well, I don't agree with this statement since there are far more important factors than teachers. You know, a good school should have advanced facilities, like a good gym where students can keep in good shape and lose some weight, and it is beneficial to their cardiovascular system to get a chance to work out in the gym. School is not merely about getting a high GPA. Also, a good school should have advanced research centers, where students can get a chance to apply theory into practice. Doing experiments can help students to understand a concept or idea better.
